In the 1940s, during a post-war housing crisis, an extraordinary feat took place in Moncton. A local construction company, at the direction of Wartime Housing Limited, raised two hundred homes in record time, to give homes to the soldiers returning from war and to other locals in need.

This fictionalized account of historical events follows the families who built and moved into those homes, and through their stories shows how stable housing lays a foundation for generational safety and health in families and in broader communities--a surprisingly relevant and moving message today.
